The award recognizes the restaurant in the U.S. that serves as a national standard bearer of consistency of quality and excellence in food, atmosphere and service. The restaurant must have been in operation for at least ten years.

Towering 40-foot windows overlook the corner of Oak Street and Michigan Avenue framing a breathtaking view of the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. Contemporary custom-designed Italian chandeliers cascade from the ceiling, softly lighting champagne-colored booths nestled between marble pillars. Parking
Discounted parking is available in Spiaggia's main dining room and Cafe Spiaggia for $14 in the One Magnficent Mile building (entrance on northwest corner of Walton and Michigan, just west of Michigan Ave.) and the elevator can be taken up to Level 2. Spiaggia can also validate parking for $17 at 1000 Lakeshore Drive, located across the street from Spiaggia.

There are two ways in which guests can dine at Spiaggia. Guests may choose one of our two eight course tasting menus or order from our a la carte selections. The tasting menus allow guests to sample multiple delicacies, while the A La Carte Dinner Menu is structured to allow guests to dine as Italians do, by enjoying an antipasto, pasta, entree, cheese if desired and then dessert.
We are currently offering an eight course D.O.P. Tasting Menu. A unique wine pairing is available.
